Cedar Class’s Maths group have been monitoring the school’s usage of electricity and found that on average we were using 200 Kwh in 24 hours.
Mr Hoskins set a challenge to the class that they try and reduce the school’s usage by 25% everyday which is 50 Kwh less than before. The reward for this difficult challenge was ice-creams for all. As you can see from the smiling faces, they achieved it.
Daisy, the Head Girl reported that they achieved their target by, “turning off lights that were not needed, creating posters to remind their peers to save electricity and ensuring interactive white boards were off at lunchtime.”
Well done, lets see if we can keep it up!
