Schools have been participating in a variety of new activities this year at the Henley Youth Festival.
Today children from local schools have joined in with a street dance workshop called, ‘Urban Strides.’
“It was a very enjoyable event, but it was also tiring,” said James, year 3. The children learnt how to dance to ‘Hip Hop’ rhythms where they were required to bounce and slide (on their feet) across the floor.
The teacher was very good and inspired everybody to get involved with the dancing.
James went on to say, “I don’t usually like dancing, but I would do this event again.”
