Update from The Green Team

We can all make a difference!

This was the message given by Cath from Young Climate Warriors, who came to our school assembly on Monday afternoon: Every small step taken, together can make a big difference.

Please join us in making a difference from the 1st of January each Tuesday will be a Plastic Free Lunch day.

On this day, if your child(ren) brings in a packed lunch, please try to avoid:

• cling film
• plastic sandwich bags 
• single use plastic bottles

The Green Team will be monitoring lunch boxes on that day. Every child who brings in a lunch box with none of the 3 single use plastics, will earn a house point.

From this week; Homework across our Key stage 2 classes is to write a letter to the MP for Henley, encouraging him to do all he can to prevent plastic pollution by discouraging the use of single use plastics.
