The Biggest Youth Choir In the World

Pupils from Badgemore Primary School enjoyed an unforgettable musical adventure on 20 January as they took to the stage at London’s iconic O2 Arena to perform with Young Voices, the world’s largest children’s choir.

The group travelled to the capital by coach, buzzing with excitement long before they reached the venue. Once inside the O2, the scale of the event hit them: thousands of children from across the country, all ready to sing, dance, and celebrate music together.

Throughout the afternoon, the Badgemore pupils rehearsed alongside professional musicians, choreographers, and the Young Voices creative team. By the time the arena lights dimmed for the evening performance, they were more than ready.

What followed was a spectacular show filled with fab dancing, powerful harmonies, and infectious energy. The pupils joined the massed choir in performing a vibrant setlist that had the entire arena clapping along. Teachers described the atmosphere as “electric” and the children as “absolutely beaming”.

Parents and carers who attended the concert said seeing their children perform on such a famous stage was a moment they would never forget.

After the final applause, the pupils boarded the coach home—tired, happy, and still humming the songs from the night. For many, it was their first time performing in a venue of this scale, and the experience left a lasting impression.

The school praised the Young Voices team for creating such a joyful and confidence‑boosting event, and staff say they’re already looking forward to next year’s opportunity.
