Mayor Michelle Sworn In

It was a privilege for Badgemore Primary School to have received a personal invite to Mayor Michelle's swearing in ceremony this week. As a associate governor of the school, Michelle Thomas has been a huge supporter and advocate for Badgemore for several years now. It was an honour for our school to have been recognised in Mayor Michelle's acceptance speech. All the schools are delighted that Michelle has chosen the Henley Primary Schools to be one of her chosen charity for this year. 

Eleanor and Zino, both in year 5, enjoyed the experience and opportunity to mix with our new Mayor, the Henley Town Councillors and the Vice Chair Oxfordshire County Councillors. Whilst both were in awe of the Mayor during their conversations, they also envisaged themselves becoming Mayor one day.
