Cycling to Raise Funds For Our Playground
Henley Herald StoryOur Raffi, year 5, is gearing up for the adventure of a lifetime — and it’s all to help our school.
In August 2025, Raffi will cycle 100km through the remote Maasai plains of Tanzania before attempting to summit Mount Meru, Africa’s fifth-highest mountain at 4,562m. He’s doing it alongside his dad, Marco Barcella who will be with him every step (and pedal) of the way. Together, they hope to raise £4,000 towards the transformation of Badgemore School’s playground.
