Tuesday 11 June 2024 Cricket! Badgemore Broncos Badgemore Broncos faced the Danesfield Dragons first. A strong partnership between Szymon & Ivan yielded lots of boundaries with a powerful innings from Cecily adding to our total of 53 runs.

Thursday 29 June 2023 Chickens first day out As part of their ongoing care the chicks are now old enough to enjoy some of the lovely weather and experience life outside, weather permitting of course. All of our pupils have enjoyed watching them when they are outside at breaktimes.

Thursday 29 June 2023 Maple Class - Visit the Library Maple class visited the library. The librarian read the children a story called 'shark in the park' and explained how the library works. The children were then given some free time to browse the books and spend some time reading. At the end of the trip, we used our class library card to take out some books that we are going to use to create an information poster.

Thursday 29 June 2023 Beech Class - Water Filters Over the last few weeks, Beech class have been researching, designing, making, and testing their very own water filters. We discussed why water filters are important – especially to those living in poorer countries who do not always have access to clean water. We then researched how water filters are made and why they contain certain materials – to filter out the dirt and impurities. We made our water filters by choosing the materials we thought would be the most effective and then tested them to see how well they filtered through just the clean water!

Wednesday 22 June 2022 Cedar Class - Library Trip Cedar Class got toexamine how we choose books, learned about how to find non fiction texts using the Dewy system and tried out some interactive coding.

Wednesday 22 June 2022 Green Team Badgemore School is thrilled to announce the formation of its very first eco committee (the Green Team), made up of Lucy, Robyn, Ava and Noah from Cedar Class and Orson and Alaa from Beech. Initially the team will work on achieving the Plastic Free Schools award, a programme that Badgemore has recently signed up to, aimed at riding school of single use plastics and more. Alongside this, they intend to develop an action plan to respond to the climate emergency we are all facing. The team are fizzing with ideas, but will be looking to the rest of school and its wider community for input too. Watch this space! Mrs Hopkins

Thursday 26 May 2022 Badgemore Athletes! We are so proud of our Cedar Class Athletes – who became the first Badgemore children to compete at a Quadkids county competition EVER this week. They all showed positive attitudes, perseverance and personal bests! Bring on the next one!!

Wednesday 11 May 2022 Mayor Michelle Sworn In It was a privilege for Badgemore Primary School to have received a personal invite to Mayor Michelle's swearing in ceremony this week. As a associate governor of the school, Michelle Thomas has been a huge supporter and advocate for Badgemore for several years now. It was an honour for our school to have been recognised in Mayor Michelle's acceptance speech. All the schools are delighted that Michelle has chosen the Henley Primary Schools to be one of her chosen charity for this year.
