Friends Of Badgemore School
FOBS (Friends of Badgemore School) is an integral part of the school community run by an active team of parents / carers and supported by the staff.
We aim to raise funds to support school activities that will enhance the education and facilities at Badgemore. All parents and carers are automatically given membership to FOBS and it is entirely up to you how much you would like to be involved.
We want to ensure that all children get the most from their time at Badgemore, whether this is through experiences and opportunities or having access to new equipment and facilities.

Fundraising targets and events
The past year has been a challenge in many ways and fundraising is no different. Without the possibility of holding events, FOBS had to curtail or postpone many of our fundraising activities.
Having said that, necessity is the mother of invention, and Badgemore’s Virtual Christmas Fayre and online Wreath-Making session raised over £1000. We look forward to returning to more normal activities in the upcoming academic year including movie nights, star gazing, discos, Christmas carols and treats around the tree.
FOBS have recently spent money on:
- Creation of a new Vegetable Garden to get the children involved in the growing process by enjoying getting their hands dirty. By bringing the curriculum into the outdoors and encouraging an appreciation for where their food comes from we aim to help them to make healthier eating choices.
- A professional pantomime being staged at the school for all the children to enjoy.
- New laptops/pads.
- Playground equipment for key stage 1 and key stage two children.
- Reading books
Community partnerships
We welcome the opportunity to partner with local businesses and charities whether this be through sponsorship, activities or hosting an event so please keep a look out for any prospective investors in our school, perhaps even with your own business or through your contacts. If you have any ideas or suggestions please contact us through the school office.
How to get involved
We are always looking for new ideas and initiatives so your help and input is extremely valuable. All help, no matter how big or small, is welcome. If you would like to help at any of the forthcoming events, or would like more information, please contact us via the school office or look out for information about our upcoming meetings.
We look forward to working together to host events and raise funds to give the children both fun and exciting educational opportunities and enhance the school community. Together we can continue to improve Badgemore facilities and experiences for all our children!
