Uniform and P.E Kit

School Uniform

It is our school policy that all children wear school uniform when attending school, or when participating in a school-organised events outside normal hours. Uniforms can be ordered through the school office.

Wearing uniform

  • Gives a sense of community and belonging to the school.
  • Is practical and smart.
  • Promotes a sense of pride in the school.
  • Makes children feel equal to their peers in terms of appearance.
  • Prevents children from coming to school in fashion clothes that could be distracting in class.
  • Is regarded as suitable wear for school and value for money by most parents.
  • Is designed with health and safety in mind.

  • Jewellery

On health and safety grounds we do not allow children to wear jewellery. The exceptions are items of a cultural nature or ear-ring studs.  These must be removed for PE or covered with a plaster.

    Footwear

We require children to wear black shoes which are flat, no platform or high heels. Trainers are not allowed, except for PE. (See below for details of PE kit.)
