After many months of rehearsals, singing through the streets and exploring shakespeare’s language, our revels now are ended. Resilience, co-operation and trust have ensured that this year’s production of The Tempest was one of the best ever.
Some particular highlights included the comical reactions of the audience as Caliban (Zara) grunted on to the stage and Erica’s transformation from a young Portuguese lady without a word of English into the magical Ariel shining in her performances. Another noteworthy performance included the lead hobgoblin, Ewan, as he left the audience spellbound.
