The Value for this term is:
Courage

Last Thursday, we went on a fabulous trip to Henley Fire Station. First, we had an interesting talk from a fireman called Nick. He taught us lots of things about being safe with fire and how to react when you hear a smoke alarm going off. Harry John’s Mum even got to try a Fireman’s uniform on. She said it was very, very heavy! Thanks to Fireman Nick, we all now know that fire needs oxygen and without it  fire will go out. Everybody got to squirt water from a hose, look around a fire engine and we even got to sit in one! “This is the best trip EVER, Mrs Rowlinson!” cried Edward, whilst sitting in the fire engine.  I definitely think we have some future fire fighters in Key Stage 1!
