Homophone (homo- meaning ‘same’ and phone- meaning ‘sound’) – Two words that are pronounced the same, but spelt differently and have different meanings.
Synonyms – (syn – meaning ‘unity’ and nym – meaning ‘word’) – Two words that have the same meaning.
