Badgemore’s Preparations for COVID-19

Dear parents, carers and guardians,

The staff at Badgemore are following national guidance from Public Health England.

The most common symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) are recent onset of a new continuous cough and/or high temperature. If you have these symptoms, however mild, stay at home and do not leave your house for 7 days from when your symptoms started. You do not need to call NHS 111 to go into self-isolation. If your symptoms worsen during home isolation or are no better after 7 days, contact NHS 111 online. If you have no internet access, you should call NHS 111. For a medical emergency dial 999.

There are currently no confirmed cases of COVID-19 at Badgemore Primary School. We have carried out our own risk assessment and have a education continuation plan in place in the event that we are closed.

Badgemore’s Covid-19 Protocol

Below is our protocol if there are any suspected cases of the virus within the school:

Updated Coronavirus Protocol for Badgemore Primary School

Readiness For Home Schooling

As the Coronavirus (covid-19) has disrupted the work of schools throughout Europe, we would appreciate your feedback on enabling pupils to learn at home in case the government decides to temporarily close schools in England. We do not intend to close the school if it can be avoided. If we were to close, we believe it is essential that our pupils continue to learn and therefore we are keen to ensure that we can provide home learning resources to our school community.

Parent Readiness Survey

We recognise that this will be a challenging time for everyone and we believe that working together will make this more manageable.
